apap – the advancing performing arts project was founded by SZENE Salzburg as a European network 16 years ago.
The programme is devoted to the development of the contemporary performing arts and their impact on European society. It includes the production, presentation and distribution of artistic works and pays particular attention to gaining new audiences and researching new forms of outreach.
On the ground, member of the European Committee of the Regions and President of the State Parliament of Salzburg, Brigitta Pallauf, mobilises EU funds to promote culture.
