During the months of October and November 1989, some events in Czech Republic and other countries behind the iron curtain brought about a historical moment in Berlin: the fall of the wall which was separating Eastern and Western Berlin, more than a symbol. With the fall of the wall, Eastern and Western Germany were again united after more than 40 years being separated. This stockshot video illustrates this moment with the archive footage. After the German reunification, the Eastern part became a part of the EU, and the other European countries behind the iron curtain followed.
